Chris Walden

Dr. Walden has a deep love for the outdoors.  From her early years camping and hiking across many parts of the US to recent explorations into more unforgiving back country she is at home in the wild.  Dr. Walden a neonatologist & pediatrician, serves as our medical director, Avalanche L1 certified, and oversees our Adventure Wilderness CME curriculum.

If you look up Badass in the dictionary you will see Danny Trejo and this guy.  Clay has years of experience in glacier travel, alpinism, mountaineering, scuba diving, spear fishing, rock climbing, skiing, piloting airplanes & just being one cool hombre. He holds certifications as a Wilderness First Responder, Alpine Mountaineering and Technical Leadership, Advanced Open Water Diver, Avalanche L1, and an AMGA Rock Instructor. 

Meet our guides

Growing up in Southern California he spent much time in the backcountry: climbing, backpacking, river rafting, skiing, & snowboarding. He has guided alpine trips in Africa, Alaska, Rocky Mountains, Canada & the Sierra Nevada Range focusing on rock, alpine and ice climbing terrain.  He holds certifications as an AMGA Rock Instructor, Wilderness First Responder, Avalanche L1, CPR, Advanced Mountaineering, & Advanced Open Water Diver.
